Juneteenth Celebration
A Weekend of Celebration, Reflection, and Community
The Brownwood Juneteenth Community Celebration is a powerful and joyful tribute to freedom and unity. Taking place the weekend of June 19th, the celebration invites the entire community to take part in a series of free, family-friendly events.
This annual tradition features festive music, local performances, delicious food, and an uplifting spirit of togetherness. Signature events include the Unity Parade, the We Are One White Linen Party, and Family Fun in the Park, where guests of all ages can enjoy games, entertainment, and a free carnival at Cecil Holman Park.
Event Details:
Dates: Held annually on the weekend nearest June 19th.
Location: Various locations throughout Brownwood, including Cecil Holman Park & the Brownwood Event Center.
Admission: The Soul Food Luncheon, Unity Fun Run and Stack N Style Brunch are ticketed events open to the public. All other events are free.
