🌿 Sneak Peek Hike at Lake Brownwood State Park

Lake Brownwood State Park invites visitors to explore the newest addition to the park during a special Sneak Peek Hike on Saturday, August 15 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Ranger Nikki will lead participants on an adventure through the newly acquired property, highlighting its unique natural and cultural resources while showcasing the exciting opportunities this expanded area will bring to the park.

🥾 New Trails & Natural Discoveries

The new property nearly triples the size of Lake Brownwood State Park and adds 1.5 miles of shoreline. Because the area is newly acquired and currently has no trails or facilities, participants should be prepared for a rugged hiking experience. Hikers will meet at Park Headquarters before following Ranger George in their vehicles to the new property.

Due to the nature of the hike, pets are not permitted for their safety.
