🌙 Guided Night Hike at Lake Brownwood State Park

Experience the park after dark by joining Ranger George for a guided night hike along the Texas Oak Trail. This unique outdoor adventure offers the chance to observe nocturnal wildlife and discover how the park comes alive after sunset. Suitable for all ages and experience levels, the hike is a great opportunity to explore nature from a whole new perspective while learning about the animals that are most active at night.


🥾 Evening Adventure & Ranger-Led Exploration

The hike begins at the Texas Oak Trailhead, where participants will set out with Ranger George to explore the trail under the night sky. Guests are encouraged to wear sturdy walking shoes, bring a red flashlight if they have one, and pack anything else they may need for the hike. To help protect local wildlife and ensure the best experience for everyone, pets are not permitted on this program.


📞 Reservations & Information

This ranger-led program is included with park entrance and is weather dependent. Space is limited, and reservations are required. Guests should call (325) 784-5223 in advance to reserve a spot before arriving for the hike.
