Wesley Carter, a talented guitarist and vocalist born in 1952 in Graham, Texas, is bringing his relaxing, melodic, and romantic music to Grassroots Lounge this Friday, May 22nd. Drawing from the Great American Songbook, Wesley performs classic tunes from the 1920s through the 1950s along with select modern songs. He plays his remarkable 1972 Gibson Super 400 full hollow-body archtop guitar – a rare, handcrafted instrument with a deep, rich tone once owned by Tommy Alsup. His “Melodies in the Air” project creates the perfect soundtrack for dining, conversation, and a peaceful evening.
