AccelHealth Celebration of Rural Health Care & MOVIE: Awakenings

Celebrate the legacy of rural healthcare during AccelHealth’s America’s 250th Celebration with a special evening at the Lyric Theatre. The event features a screening of the inspiring film Awakenings, based on the remarkable true story of patients whose lives were transformed through groundbreaking medical treatment. Throughout the evening, guests will also enjoy special recognition of healthcare heroes and community partners, entertainment by the Lyric Players, and the exciting “Drive for Health Golf Cart Raffle” drawing.

✨ An Inspiring Evening of History & Community

Guests who choose the exclusive VIP experience can begin the evening at 5:00 p.m. with a Center Stage reception at the Lyric’s Off Center venue. The reception includes gourmet hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages provided by The Turtle Restaurant and Enoteca, along with a special presentation exploring the history of healthcare in Central Texas. Following the reception, attendees will head to the Lyric Theatre for the film and enjoy complimentary intermission concessions during the program. Hendrick Health Brownwood serves as the evening’s presenting sponsor.
