Wild Encounters: The Zoo Comes to Brownwood

Get ready for a wild adventure as the zoo comes to town! Families are invited to join the Brownwood Library for a special interactive presentation featuring animal ambassadors from the Abilene Zoo. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about fascinating wildlife, discover unique animal adaptations, and explore the importance of conservation through an engaging, educational experience designed for young learners.

Amazing Animals & Hands-On Discovery

This exciting program brings the zoo experience directly to the community, giving children the chance to learn about animals from around the world without leaving town. Through live animal encounters and interactive presentations, zoo educators will introduce different species and share how conservation efforts help protect wildlife and their habitats. The program is designed to be both fun and educational, encouraging curiosity about the natural world.

️ Free Admission & Program Information

This event is free to attend and is part of the Brownwood Library’s Summer Reading Club. Families may choose the presentation time that works best for them. The 10:00 AM session is geared toward toddlers and preschoolers under age 5, while the 11:00 AM session is designed for children ages 5 and up. Families with children in multiple age groups are welcome to attend whichever session best fits their schedule. Participants are encouraged to sign up for the library’s free Summer Reading Club, which offers activities and programs for readers of all ages throughout the summer.
