2nd Saturday Art Labs with Brownwood Art Association

The Brownwood Art Center hosts engaging monthly Art Labs on the second Saturday of each month, offering a creative adventure for children. Starting March 14, 2026, young artists ages 6 to 12 explore a variety of hands-on activities including drawing, painting, printmaking, and mixed media. These sessions run from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the center, providing a fun and inspiring environment where kids can experiment with art supplies and unleash their imagination under guided instruction.

Held at the Brownwood Art Center, located at 215 Fisk Ave in Brownwood, Texas, these Art Labs are organized by the Brownwood Art Association—a longstanding nonprofit dedicated to promoting local arts and education. The sessions encourage adventure in artistic expression, with adult supervision required (an adult 18+ must accompany each student). It’s a supportive space for families to connect through creativity in the heart of the community.
