Head to the Brownwood Art Association on Saturday, June 24, for the final installation of their ongoing Art of Fiber presentation. That day, it’s all about spinning yarn! That’s right: if you’re looking for some insight into the wonderful world of yarn, then this in-person demonstration is exactly what you’re looking for. But maybe that’s not exactly what you’re looking for. Maybe you just want to get out on a Saturday and check out some awesome art. If that’s the case, then this is the place for you to be. Admission is free, and both door prizes and raffle prizes are available. You won’t want to miss it!
Brownwood is home of one of the oldest continuously running art associations in the state of Texas. The BAA provides scholarship funds to area college students who are majoring in art. The association has donated art related books to the public library as memorials along with providing various demonstrations for the community.
