Gordon Wood Stadium

Named after the legendary High School Football Coach, Gordon Lenear Wood, this historic football mecca is home to the Brownwood Lions Football, Soccer, & Track Programs as well as Howard Payne University’s Yellow Jackets Football. New artificial turf added in 2014 make for an excellent playing surface in every month of the year. Other recent additions are a new 36’ x 38’ scoreboard featuring an 18’ x 33’ video display and updated restroom. These features make for the ultimate stadium venue for an event of any size.
