The Brown County Rodeo Parade returns for the 59th year in a row! For those participating, check in at 8:30 AM behind the Lehnis Railroad Museum & Visitor Center. Judging begins at 9:00, and at 10:00 AM, the parade kicks off. Awards this year include Best in Show (best overall), the Heart of Texas Award (best use of theme), and the People’s Choice Award. The parade will coincide with the 59th annual Brown County Rodeo, which will run from June 1st to June 3rd. This year’s theme is “Deep in the Heart of Texas”. Head out for a day of fun with the whole family!
The Brown County Youth Fair Board manages the Earl Q. Wilson Arena, Home Economics Building and the Youth Fair Barns. The Arena is the home of the Annual Brown County Rodeo, and other related events. The Home Economics Building has a kitchen, restrooms, an open floor plan, tables, and chairs. The Youth Fair Grounds include four barns and one Show Arena.
