🎸 Battle of the Bands at Pioneer Live

Battle of the Bands is coming to Brownwood for a night of incredible local talent at Pioneer Live. Whether bands take the stage or guests cheer from the crowd, this competition showcases skilled musicians competing for cash prizes, future performance opportunities, and bragging rights. The event takes place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, with the competition running from 7:00 to 11:00 PM at Pioneer Live, located at 112 E. Baker St., Brownwood, TX.

✨ Energetic Atmosphere & Friendly Community

Pioneer Live hosts this exciting competition that brings together local bands and music fans in a supportive setting. Eight bands will battle it out, judged on musical performance, stage presence, crowd engagement, originality, overall entertainment value, and professionalism and preparedness. After the competition, attendees can stay for the awards presentation, the winner’s encore, networking, and celebration. One competing band will also be selected to perform at Corks and Caps in October based on overall performance, professionalism, and event fit.

🎟️ Registration, Prizes & Info

Bands interested in competing may register for $25 per band (non-refundable). Registration is limited to the first eight registered and paid bands. Prizes include $1,000 cash and a performance slot on the Pioneer Live Stage at Feels Like Home Fest for first place, plus $500 cash and a performance slot on the Pioneer Live Stage at Feels Like Home Fest for the runner-up.
