
The inaugural Spring Art Stomp in Downtown Brownwood scheduled for Saturday, March 29th, 2025, from 2-6 PM. This event strives to bring together Downtown Brownwood businesses, local and regional wineries and breweries, and the local art community to provide an unforgettable experience for participants. Ticketholders will stroll Downtown Brownwood on their own to be immersed in a variety of quality beverage, food, shopping and arts and cultural experience.
As an added bonus, the Brownwood Art Association will feature its art exhibit, “Color in Art,” at the Art Center, and the Lyric Theatre will perform “Shakespeare in Love” at 7:00 PM—giving ticket holders even more reasons to linger in Downtown Brownwood after the event.
Through a partnership with Visit Brownwood, Boys & Girls Club of Brown County and the Brownwood Art Association – the inaugural Spring Art Stomp is designed to engage area residents and visitors to stroll and shop downtown.
Tickets for the Spring Art Stomp will be available online, with two options:
• Standard Tickets: $35 in advance (includes a commemorative wine glass, a wine tote, and 10 tasting tickets).
• VIP Tickets: $45 in advance (includes all the perks of a Standard Ticket, PLUS 2 additional tasting tickets, exclusive access to a VIP lounge, and other VIP-only surprises).

- “Run wild, be free and unreasonably fearless” | Exterior mural by Calina Mishay at Pat Coursey Park in Downtown Brownwood. The design for the mural features wild horses running through water with vibrant colors and depiction of movement.
- “Cat & Fish” | Located behind former Steve’s Market and Deli is a large scale mural that covers the entire back wall of the building, and was painted by local artist Amanda Coers in conjunction with the Brownwood Arts Council.
- “Painted Poppies” | Located in the Davis Floral parking lot, this shipping container is painted with vibrant poppies and adds lots of color to the space!
- “Marinello” | Created to resemble an actual historic ad from the 1920’s, this fun mural features a recreation of the advertisement of a former ladies’ shop previous located at the Lyric Theatre. Painted by Amanda Coers.
- “The Painters” | Silhouettes of painters and their art in progress are painted on the outer walls of the Brownwood Art Association Art Center.
- “And the tree was happy” | Interior wall mural located at Intermission Bookshop nestled in a cozy nook just before you reach the children’s literature section while walking through the book tunnel you’ll find this whimsical mural painted by Brownwood artist Carolyn Wood with a scene from Shel Silverstein’s classic “The Giving Tree”.
Not included in ticket, Lyric Theatre will perform “Shakespeare in Love” at 7:00 PM—giving ticket holders even more reasons to linger in Downtown Brownwood after the event. A discount code will be provided for VIP ticket holders.
Live music will be held at Pat Coursey Park, and at various locations downtown. More information coming soon!
