Celebrate Culture and Community in the Heart of Downtown
Each spring, the streets of downtown Brownwood come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration. Hosted by the Arts Council of Brownwood, this lively festival brings families, friends, and visitors together to honor cultural traditions and enjoy a night of music, dancing, food, and fun.
The event features live music, street performers, games for kids, vendor booths, contests, and plenty of local flavor. The Brownwood Lyric Theatre also provides a cultural production. From festive décor to a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a celebration that brings the whole community downtown. Over 10,000 locals and visitors look forward to this annual celebration of culture.
