Howard Payne University invites the community, students, alumni, personnel, friends and more to HPU’s campus for the Spring Family Reunion on Saturday, March 26. The day’s festivities will begin at 2 p.m. and feature outdoor games, food, alumni reunions, a movie screening and a concert featuring HPU alumni David Dewese ’96, James Dunning ’97, Chad Edgington ’97 and Brad Miles ’96

HPU is excited about this free day of fun for all ages on the HPU campus! From a movie to reunions and culminating in a quality concert featuring several talented HPU alumni, there will be activities for everyone. You won’t want to miss out!

The event will begin with the Matinee in Mims, a family-friendly movie screening of “The Rookie” (Rated G) at 2 p.m. in L.J. Mims Auditorium. Festivities will continue with the Reunion Celebration, featuring outdoor games, bouncy houses and food trucks, beginning at 4 p.m. at the J. Howard Hodge Memorial Bell Towers. Several alumni chapters and student organizations will host reunion tables, including the African American Alumni Chapter; members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors (past and present); Baptist Student Ministry; Chi Alpha Omega; Delta Chi Rho; Hispanic Alumni Chapter; Pi Theta Chi; Student Government Association; and Tau Beta Sigma. The event will conclude with the Songwriter Showcase at 7 p.m. in L.J. Mims Auditorium, featuring four alumni musicians who will perform original songs.
