Holiday in the Boot Shop Saturday, November 27th at The Brown County Museum of History.
Come celebrate the holiday at the museum! Walk through the boot shop decorated for the holiday. Craft your own keepsake leather ornament, write a letter to Santa, take your Christmas family photos in our vintage truck, enjoy hot cider and a scavenger hunt.
The museum exhibits over 150 years of Brown County history, from the Penateka Comanche and the earliest Texan settlers to the WWII-era Camp Bowie military collection, as well as modern soil and grass conservation from the Colonel Burns Ranch. Kids love the children’s area and the miniature Birdsong Circus. After browsing the rich history of Brown County, guests will enjoy a guided tour of the old jail across the street and be transported back in time to see glimpses of what life was like as a Brown County sheriff… or as an inmate.
Admission includes all regular exhibits and Old Jail.
