Put on your 1920s attire and join the friendly staff at the Brown County Museum of History  on April 22nd for the whiskey tasting and exhibit opening event “Bootleggers, Moonshine & the Mob”
This will be a fundraising event showcasing whiskey and food tasting and offering a first time look at the Museum of History’s newest exhibition, “Bootleggers, Moonshine and the Mob.” The event will raise funds to support educational programs throughout the year. Guests will experience a bit of fun and historical learning. The event will consist of a tour of the Old Jail where the exhibition will be housed, complete with a fun speakeasy vibe! The event will continue at the Main Building where visitors can enjoy whiskey tastings while perusing other museum exhibits. Event goers must be 21 or older. Tickets are $45 single or $80 couple and must be purchased in advance HERE , the Brown County Museum,  and the Early and Brownwood Visitor Centers. No tickets will be sold at the door. 1920s attire is encouraged though not required. Present tickets at The Old Jail.
