Brownwood Event Center Complex
Nearing the end of construction the new event center project opening at the end of Summer 2024 will create rentable spaces with both indoor and outdoor components to help facilitate events and conventions. Originally built as a warehouse for the Radford Grocery Company in the 1920s, the building has been converted into a multipurpose event center with spaces for conventions and breakout activities. Components of the project include large banquet space, five breakout rooms, a green room lounge, catering kitchen, large outdoor concert stage, a secondary stage for smaller concerts, covered pavilion, outdoor public restrooms, festival grounds, food truck hookups, green space, and more.

Local and visiting Sports Tourists favorites include The Bert V. Massey II Sports Complex featuring 12 Baseball and Softball fields and The Camp Bowie Soccer Complex featuring 22 Soccer fields on 23 acres. These facilities play host to more than 25 youth and adult tournaments per year.
While Baseball, Softball, and Soccer facilities are extremely popular for 10 months of the year, Brownwood still has so much more to offer. Other sports Brownwood caters to are: Football, Basketball, Golf, Running, Biking, and Shooting.
